Hazardous Waste (Disposal)

We were asked to investigate how hazardous waste could be disposed of.

We have requested this information from Babergh District Council, unfortunately the only way is to book a hazardous waste collection. If you require such a collection it can be booked on the following website https://www.babergh.gov.uk/waste-services/everything-else-in-waste/hazardous-waste/ the items classified as hazardous waste include:

• DIY products (for example, paint stripper)
• Flammable liquids (for example, white spirit or paraffin)
• Garden chemicals (for example, pesticides or weed killers)
• Household cleaning products
• Motoring products (for example, antifreeze, petrol or diesel)
• Poisons
• Solvent-based paints
