Seed and Potato Scheme

The Allotment Association participates in The National Allotment Society Seed Scheme where in partnership with Kings Seeds members of the association can order seeds at reduced prices.

Ordering Kings Seeds through our Allotments Association provides benefits for you the member and our Association. You will receive a 40% discount on the price of seeds that have been laboratory tried and tested AND the Allotments Association receives a commission that is used to maintain and improve the site and help to provide benefits for members and plot-holders - like supporting the Annual Show and even helping to provide refreshments at the AGM so please do continue to support the scheme.

Seed Scheme - Ordering

The scheme will operate much the same manner each year.

  • If an online order was placed last year, you can again order direct via the dedicated ordering website using the unique login details already provided.
  • If an online order was not made last year, and you would like to order this year, please contact the seed scheme manager for your unique login details
  • If you would still like to order via the historic paper-based method, please contact the seed scheme manager for a paper form which should be completed and returned to me in the usual way.

Seed orders made on or before the middle of November generate a small amount of additional commission for the Association so please order early. In all cases an order/packaging/delivery charge (per delivery) of £2 will apply

Potato Scheme - Ordering

We are again making seed potatoes available through our own scheme even though the Kings catalogue includes a number of potato varieties as this will be more cost effective for you. An order form is provided to all members which should be completed/returned to the seed scheme manager by the middle of October at the latest with payment. Our Potato Scheme continues to represent excellent value for money. Once again no post/packing charge is required for seed potatoes ordered via our scheme.
